Where are we?
We are located on the Peacehaven A259 in the parade of shops next to the convenient Steyning Ave car park (free of charge) and the Bramber Ave bus stops. We are directly opposite the Esso petrol station. Click here to view map.
Our surgery has a comfortable and welcoming reception/waiting room with wide doors and a ramp for disabled access. There are two separate and modern clinic rooms where a variety of treatments are offered. Both the surgery and the domiciliary team have all of the modern equipment required to ensure that we can treat whatever foot problem you might have. Furthermore, we operate to the guidelines set by our governing body regarding hygiene and sterilization or discarding of any tools.
What is the difference between Chiropody and Podiatry?
Something client's often ask is what's the difference between chiropody and podiatry. In the UK, podiatry is simply the new name for chiropody. The name was changed to the internationally recognised name of podiatry in 1993. It’s not just the name that has changed though; podiatry is a constantly evolving profession. Once qualified, each podiatrist has an obligation as a member of the Health Profession's council to continue to learn. This ensures that the treatment given is professional and the most appropriate.

We are pleased to announce that following easing in lockdown rules we are now taking bookings for all treatments from June 1st.
Please do not come in if you or anybody in your household has symptoms of COVID-19. Everybody is asked to use alcohol gel when entering and to wear a face covering or mask for the duration of your visit. A disposable mask will be given to wear if you do not have your own. We will be wearing masks, gloves, aprons, visors and protective separation screens will be in place both in reception and clinic rooms. If you are having a home visit because your are housebound or isolating for your protection, the podiatrist will wear all of the same PPE and you will be asked to wear a face covering/mask and we ask that only the patient and podiatrist be in the room if possible.
To minimise crossover we are currently only running one clinic at a time. Please come on time, if you are early please wait outside until called if you can to allow us time to clean. You must be aware that although we are taking extreme precautions, simply by leaving your home you are increasing your risk of infection. 'Like' our Facebook page for regular updates on services we are able to provide and any opening time changes. Stay safe, we hope to see you soon.
